Environmental Statement
Mark Richey Woodworking follows environmentally sensitive manufacturing methods and is committed to sustainable practices. Using wood for built interiors is the wisest choice for the environment. It is a clean, renewable resource with the least impact on total energy use, greenhouse gasses, air and water pollution, solid waste and ecological resource use. Seventy percent less energy is required in the use of wood compared with any other building materials.

Our environmental commitment extends beyond projects and consultations. We are continually reducing our carbon footprint...

Bio-Mass FurnaceBio-Mass Furnace
We have installed the industry's first clean-burning Biomass furnace in Massachusetts. The furnace heats 80,000 square feet of the company's facility using sawdust and wood chip byproducts from the company's millwork and nearly eliminates the consumption of fossil fuel for heating. This unique heating system is doing its part to save the environment, save money and reduce dependence on foreign oil. Learn More
