To get to know the Summit bridge, first one has to understand Summit tables.

Long before others were doing it, WallGoldfinger created a typically 60-inch by 60-inch tilt-top table with a central base. The table provides a higher end solution for reconfigurable boardroom, conference, and dining spaces, and it comes with some big benefits.

Unlike most MPR tables, Summit tables are engineered to allow for heavier top materials, such as stone and glass. They have retractable casters, allowing the tables to roll to new configurations and into storage when top is tilted and stay fixed firmly in place when the top is lowered for improved convenience and safety. They also largely contain wiring within the table base, daisy chain, easily level, require no tools, and have no loose parts.

Summit tables alone are a standout for their look and reconfigurability. The Summit bridge adds a unique-to-the industry solution for rooms with dividing walls.

Summit bridge tables position a Summit table, or two or three, between two fixed tables.

Here’s the cool part. The fixed tables have tops that slide a couple of inches away from the reconfigurable center Summit tables to give access to flip the Summit tops without grinding table edges together.

The Summit tables can then be rolled away to storage or for use elsewhere. Those sliding tops can then be pushed back into place. The client engages their dividing wall. And viola, two conference tables instead of two.

Why the Summit bridge?

The Summit bridge offers a couple of great benefits for spaces that need only go from one long table to two smaller tables.

Chief among those benefits is that they’re easier for facilities teams to use.

Rather than moving around a bunch of tables into a new configuration, Summit bridge fixed tables stay in place, securely over floor cores. That means limited, or no, disconnection of wiring and no moving bases off of floor cores.
