Mark Richey Woodworking recently received a manufacturing award by the Mass Legislative Manufacturing Caucus. The Caucus held its awards presentations at Gillette Stadium. The Caucus and Mass MEP recognized Mark Richey for its dedication to the sustainability and advancement of manufacturing in Massachusetts.
Mark Richey Woodworking was recognized with a 2018 Environmental Merit Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s New England regional office on Sept. 12, 2018, at Faneuil Hall in Boston. The annual award given across New England since 1970 recognizes businesses, organizations and individuals’ work to protect or improve the environment through efforts demonstrating ingenuity and commitment.
Non-profit manufacturing promotion organization MassMEP, along with a host of cosponsors, held a Celebration of Northeast MA Manufacturers in recognition of their contributions to the regional economy on Oct. 18. Mark Richey Woodworking was recognized with a Sustainability Award "for being one of the greenest manufacturers in the nation by incorporating alternative energy resources - wind, biomass and solar - to run and operate your facility."
