Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum / Calderwood Hall

The Museum is filled with performances by renowned musicians alongside outstanding emerging artists, enhanced by the dynamic architecture of which MRW has been an integral part of.  The unique acoustical paneling in Calderwood Hall engineered and fabricated by MRW offers aesthetics as well as functionality for this rich musical space. The new addition to the Gardner Museum adds a modern twist to a traditional Boston mansion. The space features rift white oak acoustical panels to provide sound attenuation, warmth and beauty to this unique space. This is one of two projects we worked on with legendary architect Renzo Piano.
